Freestanding or modular bookcases: the freestanding version consists of two vertical support elements (sides) with glides or castors (one side with 2 uprights on the right + one side with 2 uprights on the left – each upright made of structural steel with a diameter of 35 mm).
At the bottom, the sides are matched with an open unit fitted with a fixed shelf in the middle, and with two, fixed height shelves.
It is possible add a middle module to the freestanding version. This is fitted with one side only (2 uprights with glides or castors) matching the open unit and the two shelves; it is possible to add an indefinite number of middle modules. The open unit can be fitted with hinged or sliding doors.
A work top and dividing panels – with or without whiteboard – can be added to the bookcase with castors. Both sides of the panels are covered in fabric.
Alessio Pozzoli
Alessio Pozzoli began working with Sesta in 1999 to develop a modular sofa with a replaceable seat.
That modular sofa, called Tommy, was then presented in 2000 at the Cologne Orgatec fair. Tommy has contributed to the success of Sesta as a Company sensitive to the furniture design needs of the office and the community.
